Professional experience

Dr Amit D. Mistry is an award-winning Consultant Psychiatrist with a diverse range of expertise ranging from General Adult, Eating Disorders, Older Adult and Elite Sports Psychiatry. Dr Mistry has exclusive admitting rights to the Nightingale Hospital.

Dr Mistry is Consultant Sports Psychiatrist to England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Women’s team and consults for ASICS Europe. He has published, peer-reviewed medical research in international medical journals and worked within postgraduate visiting clinical lecturer roles too. He published his first book, ‘Case Studies in Sports Psychiatry’ with Cambridge University Press (2021).
