FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LONDON, ENGLAND – Nightingale Hospital London has today announced the acquisition of Start2Stop Limited.
Start2Stop opened in 2010 in London as a solely outpatient addiction treatment service. It expanded in 2012 to provide residential secondary and tertiary treatment. Today, it is a leading provider of private addiction treatment in London, with a worldwide reputation.
This significant partnership will complement Nightingale Hospital’s broad range of mental health services. This move will strengthen Nightingale Hospital’s addiction treatment offering, specifically, with the addition of secondary care provision.
Announcing the collaboration, Akthar Hussain, Managing Director of Nightingale Hospital said:
“We are thrilled to unite with Dr Cosmo Duff Gordon, and the excellent Start2Stop team. Nightingale Hospital and Start2Stop share similar values and 40 years of experience in treating addiction. At the core, is a shared desire to deliver the best possible treatment for patients. This acquisition felt like a natural fit from the very beginning.”
Dr Cosmo Duff Gordon, Managing Director of Start2Stop echoed this:
“We are hugely excited at the prospect of working alongside Nightingale Hospital and to be joining its world-class addictions-treatment team. Nightingale and Start2Stop share a similar ethos, indeed making this a very natural fit. The marriage of Nightingale’s expertise in primary care, with Start2Stop’s expertise in secondary and outpatient care, effectively pioneers the first vertically integrated rehab system in the UK private sector. Together, we will be able to deliver the sorts of long-term continua of care that deliver the very best outcomes for patients.”
